Spraying Elastomeric Paint

Using spray to apply elastomeric paint or any paint is just faster and effective. It's easier to apply a lot of paint using a paint sprayer. Using brush or roller is labor intensive and time consuming. A good side to using brush or roller though, is that the paint will not have to be watered down as not to clog the nozzle.

Over spraying happens when you use a paint sprayer. When spray painting, be sure to cover areas you don't want painted. That's everything close to the area you're painting. Plan your painting project and prapare the surface thouroughly. If you haven't spray painted before, take some time to practice.

The paint sprayer should be strong enough to atomize the coating. Choose a tip size that's recommended by your elastomeric paint manufacturer. Start painting from the top going down and in sections.
